This was an app I created for when you are in an area without cell service. I created the branding, the logo, UI design and everything involved. The idea is that it uses a Bluetooth mesh technology to connect you with people even when there is no cell service. The technology already exists and is used for this type of issue. But for this app I chose to help Bedford England and their farmers, due to the fact they have a rising issue with farmers not getting cell service.

These were some slides from my presentation on OutPost.

Login Screen Ideas. I sort of played around with a few designs. mostly just testing how much color we really needed.

Heres a few more options, the one on the right was my original Logo. A lot of feedback I recieved said that the original logo did not make a lot of sense.

Here is example of alerts that you might receive from OutPost. The lock screen photos are pictures I took around Houston, Texas, where I grew up. I wanted to incorporate some of my roots into this project..

On the left is the home screen, and the two screens on the right show how the chat features would work. I love the orange on white with a slight glass effect.

The app has the ability to send out an SOS without the need of cell service. The left and right slides show the SOS feature where a user can record their message and send it out. Also the middle frame here shows a map of the area and we can see the closest contacts to the user.

Outpost will have all your personal info on file for emergency purposes. The middle screen shows how the app can help you find cell service, and the screen on the right shows the apps ability to use a two way radio and switch between stations.

Heres a few more options, the one on the right was my original Logo. A lot of feedback I received said that the original logo did not make a lot of sense. It was supposed to be sort of a satellite object. Also that the old screen and logo looked very early 90’s and outdated.
